List of 72 Crypto ETF Applications Now Under Review by SEC Chair Paul Atkins


On April 9, 2025, the U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of President Donald Trump’s pro-crypto pick, Paul Atkins, as chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Atkins was sworn into office on April 21 as the 34th chairman of the agency. 

Less than a week into office, Atkins is said to be facing 72 crypto-related exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications—whether the regulator will approve or reject them. This was according to analyst Eric Balchunas

What cryptocurrencies are included in these ETF applications?
