Applications are now open for the Cryptita Plays Builder Showcase, a live presentation competition scheduled for August 8, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila, according to an announcement by event organizers.

Showcase Overview
Powered by the Philippine World Building and Construction Expo (WOCEE), the event provides a platform for students, developers, startup founders, researchers, and technology communities to present pre-existing projects on the WOCEE Main Stage.
Organizers stated that eligible submissions include working products, minimum viable products (MVPs), prototypes, proof-of-concepts, university capstone projects, and developed ideas.
Competition Categories and Timeline
Projects can be submitted under five categories: Gaming & Entertainment, Trust & Safety, Real World, Bayanihan Finance, and Wildcard, which covers artificial intelligence, robotics, and other emerging technologies.
Registration will remain open until July 30, 2026. Selected finalists will be announced on August 1, 2026, following a screening process.
Finale and Organizer Background
Finalists will present live during WOCEE 2026 to receive feedback from industry judges and compete for a ₱20,000 prize pool.
Cryptita Plays is an educational initiative founded by Filipino web3 content creator Arshelene Lingao. The initiative previously launched grassroots web3 educational programs in the Philippines, including a remote mini-library project and the “Barya to Blockchain” youth encyclopedia.
