The feature follows the same basic conversion flow as a standard Quickex swap: select assets, review a live quote, provide a destination address, send the deposit to an order-specific address, and receive the output asset in a wallet controlled by the user.
Standard swaps can generally be initiated without account registration; AML checks and identity verification may still be required.
“Private Swap is not intended to make public blockchains private,” said Amanda Flores, Media Manager at Quickex. “The goal is narrower: to give users an alternative conversion path that reduces the direct on-chain relationship between the source and destination wallets while keeping the same simple swap workflow.”
Why Private Swap was added
Private Swap is available on the Quickex platform at https://quickex.io/private-swaps. On public blockchains, a simple conversion can leave a visible connection between a deposit address and a withdrawal address.
Private Swap is designed to address that specific point in the process. According to Quickex, Private Swap uses an intermediate asset as part of a multi-step routing process intended to reduce direct on-chain linkage.
The design goal is limited: reduce the direct, publicly visible on-chain link between sending and receiving wallets. The feature does not claim absolute anonymity or untraceability. Risk-based AML checks may still apply to flagged transactions. Once the final asset arrives on a transparent chain, activity on the receiving address remains publicly visible.
How Private Swap works
Private Swap is described as a multi-step routing process:
- Deposit — The user sends the original asset to an order-specific deposit address.
- Intermediate conversion — Funds are routed through an intermediate asset as part of a multi-step conversion process.
- Payout — The final asset is delivered to the destination wallet address specified by the user.
A live quote is shown before funds are sent, including the estimated or fixed receive amount depending on the selected rate type.
The current Private Swap product page lists both floating and fixed-rate options; users should rely on the live interface for current availability on supported routes.
Fees
Private Swap uses a different fee schedule from standard Quickex swaps.
Private Swap (current product page)
- Floating: 0.9%
- Fixed: 2%
- Network costs are included in the quoted rate
Standard swaps (current interface)
- Floating: 0.5% + applicable network costs
- Fixed: 1% + applicable network costs
Private Swap carries a higher listed service fee than standard swaps.
Users should compare the net amount received and confirm the live quote before sending funds.
Sources: Private Swap fee documentation and Quickex Terms of Use. Users should confirm the final receive amount, fees and network charges in the live interface before sending funds.
Compliance and availability
Quickex does not maintain persistent user account balances for standard swaps. Deposited funds may be controlled by Quickex or its liquidity partners while an order is processed, before payout to the destination wallet.
Transactions remain subject to risk-based AML review by Quickex and, where applicable, liquidity providers.
Individual orders may be delayed, reviewed or handled under the platform’s verification and refund rules.
EU/EEA: Service is not available to persons located in, resident in, incorporated in, established in, or acting from the EU/EEA.
US: Users represent they are not located in, and are not citizens or residents of, the United States of America.
UK: Eligibility is not stated in the same explicit terms as the EU/EEA and US exclusions. Users should check the current Quickex Terms of Use before using the service.
Other: Countries subject to UN, OFAC or EU sanctions; countries where use of crypto-assets is prohibited by applicable law. Quickex reserves the right to restrict or refuse service in additional jurisdictions.
Users should confirm availability against the official Legal and Terms pages before using the service.
Private Swap joins Quickex’s standard fixed/floating swaps, VIP cashback programme and partner tools as an optional routing mode rather than a replacement for the standard exchange flow.
The feature is intended for users who want to reduce direct on-chain linkage during supported swaps; it is not designed to provide absolute anonymity, replace a full trading exchange, or bypass compliance controls.
